Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in the Float Pool, requiring EPIC experience and a CA RN license.

Details

• Float Pool unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 36 or 48 hours per week, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM
• EPIC experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum two years of experience in specialty required, three years for ER, ICU, Cath Lab, and OR
• Recent experience within the last three months in the submitted specialty required
• EPIC experience required and must be noted in employment history
• No candidates with a prior hit on license will be considered

Additional Information

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients, supervising and directing nursing staff activities
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and healing care
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Delegates and coordinates duties among healthcare team members
• Holiday RTO will not be approved
• Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will be automatically declined
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel rates with no radius rule
• Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
