Description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift float pool position requiring CA RN licensure and EPIC experience.
Details
- Float Pool unit position
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 or 48-hour weekly shift options
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- ACLS certification required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HFLS) certification required
- BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience, with 3 years required for ER, ICU, Cath Lab, or OR
- Must have worked in the specialty within the last 3 months
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
Additional Information
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervises and directs nursing staff activities and coordinates care across disciplines
- Collects and analyzes patient data to determine diagnosis and care needs
- Develops and implements individualized care plans and evaluates patient outcomes
- Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, compassionate care
- Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning
- Delegates tasks appropriately among healthcare team members
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
- No radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
