Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry Float Pool position requiring a CA RN license and EPIC experience on night shift.

Details

• Float Pool unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 or 48-hour weekly options
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required, 3 years for ER, ICU, Cath Lab, and OR
• Recent experience in submitted specialty within the last 3 months required
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted

Additional Information

• Delivers coordinated nursing care and supervises assigned nursing staff while collaborating across disciplines
• Performs patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes
• Participates in discharge planning and patient/family education
• Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
• Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will be automatically declined
• Holiday RTO will not be approved
• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule, as local rates match travel rates
