Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience who can perform both CT and X-Ray procedures.
Details
- Adult acute care and outpatient settings
- CT and X-Ray cross-training required
- Equipment includes GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS
- Performs abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, and spine/musculoskeletal CT studies with and without contrast
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 AM-7:00 PM
- 13-week assignment
- No floating required
- No on-call requirements
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- 2 years of experience in CT required
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
- Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
- Isolation precautions/PPE knowledge required
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
- Able to work with patients across all age groups from neonate to older adult
Additional Information
- Perform CT and X-Ray imaging including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, and spine studies
- Work with adult patient populations in both acute care and outpatient settings
- Ceil blue scrub color required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Accepts local candidates within 50 mile radius at a differentiated rate
- RTO must be submitted at time of application and cannot be added afterward
