Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring circulator skills and TN or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Works in a 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit caring for expecting patients
- Patient-to-nurse ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
- No block scheduling offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
- Weekend shifts required
- Unit staff create the schedule
- Float required to Helping Hands, NICU, and Postpartum units
- Uses Cerner and GE Centricity EMR systems
- Surgical scrubs provided
Requirements
- Active TN or compact multistate RN license required
- BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must be able to circulate
Additional Information
- No time off approved between 9/19 and 10/17 due to an Epic Go Live event
- Orientation dates are limited to 10/26, 11/16, or 11/30
- Local candidates accepted at a lower pay rate within a 75-mile radius
