Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a CA RN license and at least three years of ICU experience.
Details
- Work in the Medical ICU 1 unit of an acute care hospital
- Day shift schedule, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) certification required
- Minimum of three years of recent ICU experience required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care priorities
- Develop and implement care plans, coordinating care delivery to achieve desired outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Appropriately delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
