Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a school-based Home Health position in Redding, CA, serving pediatric clients and welcoming new graduates.

Details

  • School-based occupational therapy serving pediatric and school-aged clients
  • Therapist travels to multiple school sites across Trinity and Shasta counties, based out of Redding office
  • Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
  • Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluation, and treatment program design and implementation
  • Mileage and travel time reimbursed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • California Occupational Therapy license required (pending license accepted)
  • License required if applicable
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • BLS certification required, NBCOT preferred
  • New graduates accepted, no minimum experience required
  • Pediatric experience required
  • Experience with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Handwriting, Sensory Diet Programs, and Sensory Integrative Testing/Treatment preferred

Additional Information

  • Full school year assignment preferred, with potential start as soon as possible through end of May 2027
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate
  • Time off requests must be finalized prior to submission
  • Work in-person across designated school sites in Shasta and Trinity counties
