Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a day shift position requiring 1 year of med-surg/telemetry experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting on the MS/Tele unit
• Direct patient care with ratios of 1:4-5
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts (0645-1915), 3 days per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float between Belleville and Shiloh campuses and within facility as needed
• EPIC charting system used

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of med-surg/cardiac telemetry experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a Magnet-recognized acute care unit
• Navy scrub color required
• No local candidates accepted within 75-mile radius
• RTO limited to 7 days within the 13-week contract, with no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Standard travelers residing outside a 75-mile radius may stay up to 18 months, followed by a required 3-month break
• Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler
