Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CO single-state or compact license and multiple specialty certifications.
Details
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- 12hr day shift, 0700-1930
- Rotating weekends
- 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
- Uses Epic for charting
- May be required to float to other departments based on business need
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO Single State or Compact) required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA for BLS/ACLS/PALS, not expiring prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year of ED experience required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Perform health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
