Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT-CT certification and at least 1 year of CT experience for a community hospital setting.

Details

• Community hospital setting including adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department
• Performs CT procedures including abdomen and pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and vascular CTA studies
• Special procedures may include aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, drainage, and myelography
• Utilizes PACS and Philips CT equipment
• Performs multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) image post-processing
• Prepares and administers contrast media and starts peripheral IVs
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, variable schedule
• May be required to float between sister facilities

Requirements

• ARRT-CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy permit required in hand
• Valid compact state license required in hand at submission; license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility to be considered, though accepted at a lower bill rate for local candidates
• Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process, as post-offer requests may not be granted
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
• Candidates will be asked to disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem roles
