Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT-R/ARRT-CT certification for a 13-week day shift assignment.
Details
- CT Tech position within the Radiology/Cardiology department
- 4x12 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required as scheduled
- Floating may be required within the specialty as needed
- On-call not required
- Equipment used includes Philips 7500, Philips Brilliance 64, and Siemens Force
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of CT Tech experience required
- ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- MD state license required if applicable
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Experience in teaching hospital, community hospital, and Level I/II trauma settings preferred
- Proficient in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
- Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
- Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration
- Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
- Experience with vascular CTA procedures
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across adult and pediatric acute care, ED, and ICU settings
- Work in a Level I/II Trauma Center environment
- First-time travelers accepted
- Candidates residing 50+ miles from the facility are required unless locals are specifically accepted
