Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment in a Level 3 trauma acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography.

Details

• Acute care setting within the Diagnostic Radiology department at a Level 3 trauma facility
• Serves OR, ER, inpatient and outpatient CT patients
• Uses Cerner EMR along with Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT scanners
• 10-hour night shifts, every other weekend
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 1-2 shifts of floor-specific orientation provided
• On-call requirements vary and will be discussed during the interview process
• Radiologist in house until 6 PM, then available on-call

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers will be considered
• BLS certification required
• ARRT certification in CT (ARRT-CT) required
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) required
• Fluoroscopy certification required through the state of CA
• Rad Tech II level technologists must have CT experience
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Report to the Manager and team lead
• Teal scrubs required unless working in the OR, where scrubs will be provided
• Candidates expected to work holidays as needed
• Weekend requirements will be shared during the interview process
• Call schedule will be discussed during the second interview
