Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of MRI experience and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification for a night shift assignment.

Details

• MRI department with 2 MRI rooms and an average daily census of approximately 30 patients
• Serves neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• 5x8 night shift schedule from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM
• No float requirement indicated
• Weekend call rotation and holiday call coverage required
• Overnight call required approximately once per week
• Uses Epic charting system
• Philips MRI scanner and PACS system experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required (license required if applicable)
• CPR certification required
• Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and ER/Trauma experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Level I trauma experience preferred
• Pediatric Acute Care and Pediatric Outpatient experience preferred
• Proficiency with abdominal and pelvic MRI, MRA/MRV, and MRCP studies required
• Head and neck imaging experience including brain, cranial nerves, MRA/MRV, and orbits required
• Musculoskeletal and spine MRI experience required
• Experience with contrast preparation/administration and peripheral IV placement required
• Experience with diffusion imaging, MIP, and multiplanar reconstruction required
• Valid state license or certification required at time of consideration
• Two valid professional references and copies of certifications required

Additional Information

• Approximately 80 hours of orientation provided
• Gray scrubs required; scrubs are not provided
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Local candidates accepted with a local rate differential
