Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Surgical Services department within a hospital setting
- Experience required with Ortho, General, Vascular, Urology, Thoracic, and AAA cases
- Day shift schedule 6:30a-3p, 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week
- Call required every 5th weekend
- Call required for 1 winter and 1 summer holiday
- Call required 1-2 days/week from 3p-5p
Requirements
- Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
- Supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members
- Functions as a mentor and preceptor for staff
- Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts
- Complies with regulatory standards and practice governance model
