Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an evening shift role in a community hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of CT experience and ARRT certification.
Details
- Community hospital radiology/cardiology department with 2 CT rooms
- Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- High ER volume setting with basic CT imaging (no advanced or cardiac studies)
- Equipment includes Siemens and Toshiba CT scanners, Synapse PACS, and Medrad injectors
- Evening shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Work settings include adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year CT Technologist experience required in a hospital-based setting
- Community hospital experience required
- ARRT (R) and ARRT Advanced certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Cerner charting system experience preferred but not required
- Skilled in abdomen and pelvis imaging with and without contrast
- Experience with chest, head and neck, and spine/musculoskeletal CT imaging
- Proficiency in multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and PACS systems
- Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts
- Preferred skills include biopsies, aspirations, drainage, and CT arthrography
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Returning staff must wait one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- Standard contract length is 14 weeks
