Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a night shift role at a Level 1 trauma academic medical center, requiring FL or compact RN licensure and broad surgical specialty experience.

Details

• 12-hour night shift, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
• 13-week assignment in the Operating Room unit of a hospital setting
• Scrub and circulate duties required, though circulate-only candidates will also be considered
• Night shift coverage includes all surgical service lines, including pediatrics and eye surgery
• Day shift coverage includes ortho (joint and trauma), neuro (crani and spine), plastics/burn, general/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant cases

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• 5+ years of Operating Room experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma center and academic medical center experience required
• Surgery center experience does not count toward required years of experience
• Skills checklist dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Two professional references dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• No unexplained work history gaps over 30 days

• Documentation of trauma level, EMR system, and facility bed count must be included in candidate profile for consideration
