Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room Circulator for a day-shift role requiring prior OR circulating experience and an active MI RN license.
Details
- Operating Room unit with 3 OR rooms and a procedure room
- Surgical department offering general, gynecological, ENT, GI, ophthalmological, orthopedic, podiatry, and urological surgeries
- Supports outpatient and inpatient surgeries for adults and children
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Uses CPSI EMR system
- Day shift, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM (9-hour shifts)
- On-call only on weekends
- 10-11 days of call required per month
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required at time of consideration
- Compact license not accepted
- BLS certification required
- Previous OR circulating experience required
- Ortho, OB-GYN, and General surgery experience required
- PACU experience preferred
- Urology and ophthalmic experience preferred
- Prior travel experience preferred
Additional Information
- Deliver quality nursing care through application of the nursing process
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing standards
- Follow medical center policies, mission, and standards of practice per professional and regulatory guidelines
- Hospital-provided scrubs required
- Surgical team supports emergency surgeries 24/7
- Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers with adjusted pay rate
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
