Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist with 24+ months of CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a 13-week assignment in Des Moines, IA.

Details

• CT Scan unit at a hospital/medical center setting
• Night shift, Monday-Thursday 9:30 PM-7:00 AM, 40 hours/week
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• May float across campuses including Iowa Lutheran, Methodist West, and Iowa Methodist Medical Center
• Patient population includes all age groups
• Uses Siemens CT and GE CT equipment
• EPIC EMR system used
• Power injection contrast injectors used for contrast studies

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of recent CT experience required, hospital/medical center experience prioritized
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• Active IA radiology license highly preferred; licensing candidates will be considered
• License required if applicable
• Proficient experience with Siemens CT equipment required
• Experience with GE CT equipment preferred
• Experience with all age groups, shift dependent
• Experience with contrast administration required
• Experience with power injection contrast injectors preferred
• Level III trauma experience required
• Level I and Level II trauma experience highly preferred
• Recent stroke imaging experience required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• Charcoal gray scrubs required
• Candidates must not have been employed by the facility (FTE or PRN) within the past 12 months to be eligible for this travel assignment
• Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
