Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a 13-week acute care assignment.
Details
- Acute care setting in a CT department with 2 scanners
- GE equipment used for imaging
- Performs CTA, stroke protocols, head/neck, chest, and abd/pelvis studies
- Average of 15 scans/studies per day
- Uses Centricity and Meditech, transitioning to Fuji and Epic in January 2027
- Allscripts used for charting
- 12-hour day shifts, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7a-7p
- Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend unless contracted for weekends only
- 1-2 holidays required per contract period
- Call required every 4th-5th week with 1-hour call back time
- May be required to float to X-ray
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- BLS certification required
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- License required if applicable
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to start IVs
Additional Information
- No Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift
- No in-house radiologist; utilizes Coaxion Telerad services
- No RRAs (Registered Radiology Assistants) used in this department
- Self-scheduling available with manager approval
- Maroon or teal scrubs required
