Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of trauma CT experience including stroke protocol imaging for a night shift contract position.

Details

• CT Scan unit in an adult acute care setting
• Performs routine and specialized CT procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring
• Experience with CT procedures on trauma patients, including stroke protocol (CTA Head and Perfusion studies)
• 3x12 hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• Weekend graveyard shifts (Fri, Sat, Sun)
• No on-call requirements, with call back opportunities available on a volunteer basis
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
• BLS and ARRT certification required
• CA CRT and CA Fluoro Certification required
• License required if applicable
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Experience with infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media administration, and radiation safety

• Works independently with sound clinical judgment to deliver safe, precise, and timely imaging results
• Builds patient and family confidence through competent assessment, monitoring, and communication
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Only 1 holiday may be requested off per contract, with holidays defined as beginning 7:00 PM the night before through 7:00 AM the day after
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
• First-time travelers not accepted
