Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a free-standing emergency department, requiring ARRT CT certification and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Work in a 15-bed free-standing emergency department
• One CT Tech staffed per shift (days, nights, and mid-shift)
• Equipment includes GE BrightSpeed Elite CT Scanner, GE Definium Rad room, and GE Optima AMX portable machine
• EMR/systems include Meditech, Agfa PACS, and GE Centricity RIS
• Procedures include all CT scans and CT angiograms (no cardiac or biopsy procedures) along with all diagnostic radiology exams
• 13-week contract with 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call requirements, though weekend shifts are possible depending on staffing needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience required
• ARRT CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Texas Medical Board General Radiography license required, if applicable
• Strong interpersonal and people skills required

Additional Information

• Perform CT scans, CT angiograms, and diagnostic radiology exams within the ED
• Scrub color requirements include black bottoms and an olive top
• Local candidates will not be considered; a 50-mile radius rule applies
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
