Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a compact RN license and prior ED experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting with 18 head walls and 10 hallway beds
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Variable staffing model with unit secretaries and techs
• GE monitoring equipment used
• Expanse EMR used for documentation
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36-hour scheduled work week
• Floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital ED experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and CPI
• Emergency Room skillset required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Provide direct patient care within a high-acuity Emergency Department
• Tenured staff available to support and mentor traveling nurses

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
