Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with circulating experience in heavy orthopedic, urology, spine, and robotic procedures for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Operating Room setting within a hospital
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week (0800-1830)
• Call required: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month, with possible additional need based on department demand
• May float to other facilities as needed
• Heavy focus on orthopedic, urology, spine, and robotic surgical procedures

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Must be able to independently circulate for complex surgical cases
• Verified circulating experience required prior to consideration

Additional Information

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Provide patient and family education and instructions
