Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1.5 years of hospital experience and BLS certification for a night shift role requiring both GE and Siemens equipment proficiency.
Details
- Level III trauma center, short term acute care hospital with 252 staffed beds, part of Yale New Haven Health System
- CT department utilizing GE Optima CT660 scanner
- 4x12 hour night shifts from 18:00 to 8:30
- Call and weekend coverage required as needed for the department
- Will float between two facility locations in CT and RI
- Uses EPIC for charting
- Free parking available
Requirements
- Minimum 1.5 years of hospital CT Tech experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with both GE and Siemens equipment required
- Must obtain state licensure for both CT and RI, can begin work once one license is issued while the other is pending
- License required if applicable
- Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
- COVID vaccine and booster required, with religious or medical exemptions only
- One reference required for consideration

- Accepts candidates who live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Returning perm staff must be separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
- Facility can auto-approve up to 7 days of RTO
