Opportunity:

RN - MS Stroke Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
• Care for 64-bed medical-surgical stroke stepdown unit
• Treat patients with stroke, altered mental status, renal conditions, dialysis patients, COPD, CHF, isolation cases, general medical-surgical conditions, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes
• Care for adult patient population
• 2+ years of medical-surgical experience with stroke stepdown experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS (can be obtained prior to start)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active New York nursing license required
