Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units is required
• Must wear navy blue scrubs
• Provide care for Medical-Surgical Stroke Stepdown patients
• Manage common diagnoses including stroke, altered mental status, renal conditions, dialysis patients, COPD, CHF, isolation cases, general medical-surgical patients, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
• Care for adult patient population on 64-bed unit
• 2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical with stroke stepdown experience required
• Travel experience required
• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• NIH certification required for this unit (can be obtained prior to start)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active New York nursing license and all other active RN licenses required
• RTO must be included at time of submission
