Opportunity:

MS Stroke Stepdown Patients

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Must wear navy blue scrubs
• Care for patients with stroke, altered mental status, renal issues, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation cases, general medical surgical conditions, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes
• Serve adult patient population on 64-bed unit
• 2+ years of medical surgical experience with stroke stepdown experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: Current AHA BLS and NIHSS (NIH certification required and can be obtained prior to start)
• Active New York nursing license required with all active RN licenses verified through NURSYS
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
• Must submit RTO (Return to Offer) at time of application
