Description

Job Title : Radiology / Cardiology - CT Tech
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
Location : Baltimore, MD 21215

Job Description

Maryland license is required and must be in hand prior to the start date (pending MD license is acceptable at submission).
Minimum of 2 years of experience required; strong first-time travelers will be considered.
Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT Advanced Certification.

Responsibilities:

Performs CT scan procedures using prescribed techniques. Reviews imaging requisitions for accuracy and completeness, including patient identification, diagnosis, and exam details.
Adjusts equipment settings and selects appropriate technical factors to ensure proper radiographic exposure.
Utilizes standard positioning techniques to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
Selects and applies the appropriate protocol for each CT procedure, ensuring proper density and contrast levels for high-quality imaging.
Conducts CT scans of various organs to localize pathological processes.
Completes examinations in a timely manner, orders IV and oral contrast via PowerChart, and documents contrast administration.
Scans and uploads required paperwork into Cerner, completes exam documentation, screenings, consents, and paper scanning promptly and accurately.
