Description

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104
Job Type: Travel / Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night Shift – 3x12s
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Weekend: Every 3rd weekend required
Holidays: As per facility requirement

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of respiratory care experience
2 years of pediatric respiratory care experience
Ability to use MS Office Suite

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides respiratory care to pediatric, acute, and critical care patients. The RRT works with minimal supervision, follows physician orders, and adheres to facility policies and AARC guidelines. This role may include serving as a resource or preceptor to other staff.

Required Education

Associate's Degree or Technical Diploma in Respiratory Care from an accredited program

Required Certifications & Licenses

Active Pennsylvania Respiratory Care License
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NBRC
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – NBRC
BLS
ACLS

Preferred Certifications

RRT – Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (RRT-NPS) (preferred within 24 months)
PALS
NRP
