Job Title: CT Scan Technologist (CT Tech)
Location: Albany, NY 12208

Duration: 13–14 Weeks

Shift Details:

• 3x12-hour day shifts (Friday–Sunday)
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• Total Hours: 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Guaranteed hours based on facility requirements

Job Description:
The CT Technologist works under the direction of the Medical Director, Radiologist, and department leadership in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. The role involves performing CT scans to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include scanning trauma and emergency cases, as well as outpatient, inpatient (including critical care), and research patients. The technologist may also assist with specialized CT-guided procedures and is responsible for following all radiation safety regulations as per New York State guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Licensure & Certifications:

• New York State license in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR/AED certification for Healthcare Providers

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• Entry-level candidates may be considered based on skills and training
