Job Title: RN – Labor & Delivery Clinical Supervisor

Location: Washington, DC 20037
Shift: 3x12 Rotating Days/Nights
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced RN – Labor & Delivery Clinical Supervisor for a 13-week contract assignment in Washington, DC. Candidate must have prior supervisory experience in Labor & Delivery and strong leadership skills in high-acuity hospital settings.

Requirements:
  • Active RN License (State/District required)
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
  • Previous Supervisor/Leadership experience required
  • Cerner experience required
  • BLS – Required
  • ACLS – Required
  • NRP – Required
  • AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring – Required
  • Must live 50 miles from facility
Responsibilities:
  • Provide shift-to-shift clinical and operational oversight
  • Supervise staffing, patient flow, safety, and daily unit operations
  • Support patient care delivery in high-acuity L&D environment
  • Participate in process improvement and shared governance initiatives
  • Promote staff engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration
