Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Enid, OK 73701
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Schedule: Varied shifts with every other weekend required

Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care services in a fast-paced clinical environment. The Respiratory Therapist will work under physician direction to assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders across multiple care settings.

The ideal candidate should have strong critical care experience and be comfortable stabilizing neonatal patients when necessary, including ventilator support until transport teams arrive. While the facility does not have a NICU, neonatal stabilization experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed by physicians
• Perform diagnostic evaluations including arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and cardiopulmonary testing
• Monitor and manage patients receiving oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and airway management
• Administer medical gases, aerosol medications, and bronchopulmonary hygiene therapies
• Provide emergency respiratory care and support during critical situations
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care treatments and therapies
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Follow all safety, infection control, and hospital policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:
• Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credentials required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Active ABG License required
• Strong critical care and emergency respiratory care experience preferred
• Experience with ventilator management and neonatal stabilization required
