Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Long Island City, NY
Shift: 5 x7.5 (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Duration: 9 weeks
Total Hourly Pay Rate: $ 80
Weekly Gross: $ 3000
Start Date: 8/3/2026

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and compliance with departmental and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of CT experience, hold all required New York State licenses and certifications, and demonstrate excellent patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CT scans according to established protocols to ensure accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
Utilize appropriate CT imaging techniques (kV and mA) to produce optimal image quality.
Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment before patient procedures.
Administer contrast or other prescribed agents according to physician orders and established protocols.
Follow radiation safety guidelines and adhere to the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle.
Complete all required documentation, including patient records, quality control logs, charge documents, and equipment maintenance reports.
Perform quality assurance, safety testing, and routine equipment checks.
Maintain, retrieve, and manage patient imaging records for radiologist interpretation.
Verify and document the receipt and activity levels of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with departmental policies, when applicable.
Assess patient needs before, during, and after imaging procedures to ensure safe and compassionate care.

Required Qualifications

Graduate of a JRCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.).
ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
Current BLS Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a fast-paced hospital or acute care environment.
Strong communication, patient care, and critical thinking skills.
