RN – Cardiac Care / Telemetry

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Care / Telemetry
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Telemetry experience (required)
Cardiac nursing experience (required)
First-time travelers accepted

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
NIHSS

Unit Details

Patient Ratio: 5–6:1
Primarily a Med-Surg/Telemetry overflow unit caring for stable cardiac patients, including:
- Stable chest pain rule-outs
- Atrial Fibrillation with RVR
- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
- Stroke rule-out patients
Nurses should be comfortable caring for patients receiving:
- Cardizem (Diltiazem) drips (up to unit maximum)
- Amiodarone drips
