🕛 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM (OVERNIGHT)
đź“‹Â Contract Position
Job Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program
- New York State L.R.T. License / NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT Certified in Radiography and CT
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience
- CT Certified
- Injection Certified
- Must be comfortable performing X-ray duties when required during the overnight shift
Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures according to established protocols.
- Select appropriate kV and mA techniques to obtain quality diagnostic images.
- Complete daily equipment quality-control and calibration checks.
- Perform patient injections according to physician orders and prescribed protocols.
- Follow radiation safety and ALARA guidelines.
- Perform quality-control, quality-assurance, and safety testing.
- Maintain required logs, documentation, charge records, and equipment reports.
- Maintain and retrieve patient imaging data for radiologist interpretation.
- Order and receive patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses as required.
- Verify dosage/activity levels before administration.
- Provide appropriate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
