Description

Inpatient Pharmacist | 13 Weeks

Schedule: 7 on / 7 off
Weekdays: 7:30 PM – 5:30 AM
Weekends: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Weekends: Required
Experience: 1 year required
License: Missouri Pharmacist License; pending accepted if in process
BLS: Required
Locals: Not accepted | 60-mile radius restriction, no exceptions
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
EMR: Meditech experience preferred

Required Skills:

Anticoagulation, clinical, geriatric, pediatric, high-alert, pharmacokinetic, renal, and warfarin dosing
Therapeutic medication monitoring
IV preparation, antibiotics, IV piggyback, compounding, and sterile technique
Pyxis, medication storage, and unit-dose systems
Pharmacotherapy for cardiovascular, endocrine, infectious disease, pulmonary, and renal conditions

Additional: Pharmacist works independently overnight with no pharmacy technician coverage; responsible for order verification and clinical alerts through PharmacyOneSource.
