Description
Title: CT Technologist / CAT Scan Tech
📍 Location: Morristown, NJ
🌙 Shift: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday | 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM
⏰ Hours: 39 total hours
We are seeking a qualified CT Technologist (CAT Scan Tech) for an urgent opening in Morristown, New Jersey.
Required Certifications & Qualifications:
• ARRT RT (R) – Required
• ARRT RT (CT) – Required
• NJDEP / New Jersey State X-Ray License – Required
• BLS/CPR – Required
• CT registered with current certification/licensure
• Completion of an accredited Radiography/Radiologic Technology program
• Venipuncture experience
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine, emergency and trauma CT examinations
• Properly position and prepare patients for CT procedures
• Assess patients for contrast tolerance, allergies and medication incompatibilities
• Perform venipuncture and follow power-injector protocols
• Monitor patients before and after contrast administration
• Handle urgent cases including Code Grey, Trauma and Partial Trauma
• Acquire, process, send and verify images through PACS/RIS
• Maintain daily/monthly QA/QC and ACR requirements
• Maintain CT equipment, scanning rooms, supplies and contrast inventory
• Follow HIPAA, infection-control and patient-safety protocols
• Communicate unusual findings or patient-condition changes promptly to the Radiologist
