Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Case Manager to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct utilization review using Interqual for effective patient care management.
- Oversee discharge planning for all inpatients, ensuring a smooth transition of care.
- Work full-time shifts, 5x8 hours, including every other weekend, with a professional appearance.
- Engage with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care and utilization of resources.
- Navigate the Cerner EMR for accurate charting and documentation.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, including the cancellation policy and shift scheduling.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care hospital experience or case management in an acute care setting.
- Experience in utilization review and discharge planning is required.
- BLS Certification is necessary to ensure patient safety and compliance.
- Strongly prefer candidates with previous travel nursing experience.
- License submission is required for considering the application.
- Ability to float to different units as needed, following the hospital's protocols.
