Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ER patients, both adult and pediatric, across a variety of acuity levels.
• Interpret basic and advanced EKG readings as part of critical patient assessments.
• Float between Adult and Pediatric ER as required while adapting to high patient volume and diverse needs.
• Administer emergency interventions for conditions ranging from respiratory failure to STEMI and CVA protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with ER teams including physicians, mid-level practitioners, and ER techs/CNAs.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records in Cerner EMR system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with pediatric ER and managing a high daily patient volume.
• Proficiency in Cerner EMR and telemetry monitoring equipment.
• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.
• Flexibility to float across ER units and adapt to various shifts including holidays and weekends.
