ID: 63444604 Shift: Night 3x10-Hour (21:00 - 07:00); Night 4x10-Hour (21:00 - 07:00) Description: **Schedule: 7 days on and 7 days off, 10 hour shifts from 9:00pm 7:00am, every other weekend required.**Certs: Required IV admixture and sterile compounding certificates (ACPE accredited). Must have active and in good standing an Arizona pharmacist license.Experience: Must have acute care inpatient experience (which could have been gained during student rotations). Previous night shift experience required.Electronic Documentation: Meditech experience preferred.Locals and first time travelers accepted at the same rate.Ratio: Hospital census is 130-150 patients/dayDress code: Business casual. Orientation: Every MondayKey Responsibilities:-Supervises, coordinates, and participates in pharmaceutical services related to the preparation and dispensing of drugs and other pharmaceutical supplies; ensure compliance with Federal, State and local laws and regulations pertaining to the dispensing of drugs and narcotics and maintenance of all required records.-Plan and schedule work for the shift group ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate manning, space and facilities for subsequent performance of duties.-Compile charges for prescriptions filled; maintain accountability and cost records on drugs and pharmaceutical supplies prepared and dispensed.-Maintain interface with medical staff to provide information pertaining to new pharmaceutical supplies, formulary, and drug usage and compatibility and new regulations regarding drug controls.-Compound, package and label ointments, solutions and bulk pharmaceutical supplies according to standard formulas; mix prescribed drugs with intravenous solutions as required.-Maintain and support the hospital formulary and inventory, reorder and stock drugs and supplies as required. Alaris Infusion System: LVP, Syringe, Epidural and PCA-ETCO2 and SPO2 monitoring modules Grifols USP 797/800 clean rooms in Inpatient and in the Cancer Center Infusion Satellite Pharmacy Swisslog Pneumatic Tube System #Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO must be included at time of submission.
