Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Nurse to join our team. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive the highest level of care, and you will be responsible for providing information on the outcomes of procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care throughout the surgical process.
• Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including ensuring all necessary documentation and preparations are complete.
• Monitor patients during surgery and immediately after, assessing their condition and addressing any complications.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and recovery expectations.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment and uphold safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.
• Experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) is preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of Oklahoma (compact license accepted).

Work Schedule:

This position offers a guarantee of 40 hours per week, with shifts from 2:30 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday. There are no weekend or on-call requirements associated with this role.

Local Considerations:

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered for the position at a reduced rate. Orientation for nursing travelers begins on Thursdays.
