Position: CT Technologist

Shift Details

• Shift: Night 4x10-Hour (20:30 - 07:00)
• Weekend: Every other weekend required

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year
• Licensure: New York state license required
• Certifications:
  • ARRT (R)
  • BLS
• Charting System: Experience with Epic is a must
• Community Hospital Experience: Preferred

  • Days: 1:2
  • Nights: 1:2
  • Weekends: 1:2
• Number of Visits Per Day: Approximately 150
• Number of Rooms: 3
• Interdisciplinary Support: Includes IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Transportation

Special Procedures and Patient Care

• Specializing in Cardiac and Stroke procedures
• Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
• Patient age groups include Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics

Skills and Equipment

• Preferred Skills:
  • Isolation Precautions and use of PPE
  • Preparation and administration of contrast media
  • Starting Peripheral IVs
• Equipment Familiarity: GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba
• CT Scanning Skills:
  • Abdomen and Pelvis (with and without contrast)
  • Chest (with and without contrast)
  • Head and Neck (with and without contrast)
  • Spine and Musculoskeletal imaging
