Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Unit: 6 West Neurosciences
Number of Beds: 36
Number of Staff: 40
Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 HUC
- Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC
Patient Ratios:
- Day Shift: 5:1, 6:1 stretch
- Night Shift: 7:1 stretch
Equipment: Standard Medical-Surgical Equipment
EMR System: Cerner
Floating Areas: Other medical-surgical floors
Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
On Call: Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, with at least some experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
