Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU Pediatrics
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks
Job Description
Provide nursing care under general supervision to pediatric patients in a hospital setting with cardiovascular intensive care needs. Responsibilities include:
- Managing an assigned group of patients and documenting responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments.
- Assisting physicians with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Monitoring physiological data and intervening as necessary.
- Administering medications, intravenous infusions, and blood products.
- Delivering competent patient care and communicating care plans to patients and families.
- Informing patients and families about hospital procedures.
- Referring patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
- Delegating tasks to support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Minimum of 1 year of CVICU experience, including pediatrics CVICU experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees is essential.
- No prior travel experience required.
