RN - ICU - Contract

Overview

ICU registered nurse role in New York, New York
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 3x12, every other weekend, variable shifts
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Hours per week: 34.5
Unit size: 8 beds
Average unit census: 8
Staffing ratio: 1:2

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
BLS
ACLS
Neuro ICU (2 years of experience)
Neuro ICU experience within the last year
Stroke experience
Experience with EVD (External Ventricular Drain)
Experience with Lumbar Drains
Experience with Irraflow EVD RAUMEDIC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
1 year travel experience for Travel positions

Schedule Notes

Every other weekend
Fourth shift per month for the listed schedule

Additional Notes

Charge nurse duties may be assigned
EPIC experience is highly preferred
Travel positions require 1 year of travel experience; not required for per diem positions
