Registered Dietitian
Location
Jackson, Michigan
Contract Length

Schedule
- Flexible hours
- Start times from 6:00 am to 9:00 am
- 8-hour shifts
- 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist license in Michigan
- RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (1 year of experience)
- RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist experience within the last year
- NFPE
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field with completion of a Didactic Program in Dietetics and supervised practice program
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care or Inpatient Rehab or Long Term Acute Care or Long Term Care setting
- Experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition
Preferred
- Advanced Practice Certification
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nutritional assessment, diagnosis, intervention, counseling, education, and outcome evaluation
- Monitor food tolerances and nutritional intake
- Collaborate with the health care team and serve as a nutrition consultant
- Document nutrition services in the medical record
- Develop and conduct education offerings and in-service classes
- Supervise dietetic interns and students
- Support patient, employee, visitor, and staff foodservice needs
Additional Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to use and understand medical terminology
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform arithmetic calculations
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must meet core customer service standards and demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, initiative, respect, and willingness to learn
