Job Title:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) CWR
Location:
New Jersey
Job Summary:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist, under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, Technical Supervisor, and Shift Supervisors, provides and administers all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment as stated in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual. Responsibilities include providing respiratory therapy under medical direction, performing intubation assistance, ventilator setup and management, and educating patients and caregivers. The role requires collaboration with healthcare professionals, adherence to organizational standards, and the ability to adapt to changing patient needs.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ year of recent experience working as a licensed RRT.
- 1+ years of ICU experience.
- Experience with ventilators.
- Willingness to float to adult ICU areas, intermediate care, and basic intermediate care floors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.
- BLS - AHA certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license.
- Current and valid NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.

Additional Information:
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 5 lbs., push and pull a minimum of 5 lbs., and stand for a minimum of 1 hour a day.
- Regular contact with medical personnel and visitors.
