Job Summary:
The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for a group of patients during a designated time frame. The RN provides care using the nursing process, current trends, technology, and available resources within the institution's philosophy. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementation of nursing interventions, and continuous evaluation to modify care plans as needed. The RN ensures patient and employee safety, maintains accurate documentation, and collaborates effectively with colleagues, patients, and families to promote a healthy and healing environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Illinois state RN License in good standing
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- PALS (American Heart Association)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Trauma level 2 or higher experience
- TNCC certification highly preferred
Additional Information:
- EPIC experience required
