Job Title: CT Technologist-MSM-Contract

Job Summary:
Requires the utilization of appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic CT images. Performs daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment to ensure proper functioning before patient studies. Administers radioactive material injections per physician orders and prescribed protocols. Observes department documentation policies, including logs, manuals, charge documents, and equipment problem reporting to comply with regulatory standards. Conducts quality control, assurance, and safety tests while adhering to radiation safety guidelines under the ALARA principle. Maintains, develops, and retrieves patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation. Orders patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses in advance and verifies proper receipt and activity levels before administration. Performs CT procedures according to prescribed protocols, ensuring uniformity and accuracy, while assessing and responding to patient needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a JCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- New York State License (L.R.T)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified)
- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT
- BLS certification
- At least 1 year of CT experience
