Description

Job Title: RN-Progressive Care Unit

Location: Louisville, KY

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and fosters a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are evidence-based and aligned with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to provide comprehensive care, including assessments, treatments, patient education, and care coordination. The role involves active participation in quality improvement initiatives and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
BLS, ACLS certification.
ADN or ASN degree.

Effective communication and collaboration skills with care team members.

Proficiency in computer systems and applications or ability to be trained.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous nursing experience.
BSN degree.
